The festival celebrates Goddess Durga's triumph over the demon, Mahishasura. Though it's a 10-day festival, the last five days are considered the most significant. Other than Goddess Durga, the deities of Saraswathi, Lakshmi, Ganesha, and Karthik are also worshipped. Event Date: 20th October to 24th October 2023.
