About Us:
The United Hindu Cultural Association London (UHCAL) is a non-profit charity organization that was established in June 2016 (Charity registration number: 1180449. Website: https://www.uhcal.co.uk). Since its inception, our organization has been working tirelessly to foster strong relationships, bonds, and harmony amongst our communities.
Over the past seven years, we have provided aid and financial support to the deprived and elderly members of our community in the wake of natural disasters, as well as helped with funeral arrangements. We have also extended our charitable activities to help young people who are struggling financially to continue their education. We are truly committed to the betterment of our community and its members.
Our charity works exclusively towards promoting our rich cultural heritage and traditions to children and young adults in our community. We strive to create greater awareness amongst our new generation about the eternal true values and teachings of Sanatana Dharma by celebrating different religious events all year round, such as Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, Lokenath Baba’s Tirodhan, Lord Krishna Janmashtami, Maha Shiva Ratri, and Nababarsha with colorful cultural activities, including dramas, songs, dance performances, recitations, and religious workshops. Our puja magazine Anandamoyee, first issued in 2016, is continued to be published every year during Durga Puja. All these activities help members of our community to develop a healthy identity and improve their integration with the larger community.
We would like to thank our supporters for their contributions towards our cause. Your donations have helped us to continue our work and support our community in need. We welcome you to join us in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of our community members.
